Overview & Getting Started

Acadmaya is a next-generation, AI-powered, multi-tenant Learning Management System built by Kalam Digital Solutions. A single platform serves many kinds of organizations — schools, universities, corporate academies, training centres, and independent creators — covering the full learning lifecycle: course authoring and delivery, assessments, live classes, certifications, engagement, billing, and analytics.

It serves four broad segments: Academic institutions (schools, colleges, universities), Corporate enterprises (internal training and academies), Training organizations (programme-based centres), and Individual creators (educators who build and sell their own courses).

A multi-tenant architecture with full data isolation, a flexible 'learning spine' that models any organizational hierarchy, AI built into the core (authoring, assessments, and media generation), and a unified platform that brings content, assessments, live classes, communication, billing, and analytics together — instead of stitching separate tools that don't talk to each other.

Your organization is provisioned as a tenant with its own isolated environment. Administrators configure the academic structure, roles, and content, then invite users. Learners access their courses through the Customer Portal, while administrators manage everything from the Admin panel.

Yes. Acadmaya offers a free trial with all features available for 30 days, including a limited allowance of prepaid AI credits, and no long-term commitment.

Multi-Tenancy & Organizations

One Acadmaya deployment serves many independent organizations, called tenants. Each tenant has its own isolated data, branding, configuration, users, and content, while the platform itself is centrally administered.

Yes. Each tenant is provisioned with an isolated database, email configuration, and storage from a central tenant registry. One tenant cannot see or access another tenant's data.

Yes — that is the core design. A single platform serves many institutions, each with its own hierarchy, settings, branding, and role-based access, from the platform owner down to an individual learner.

An organization represents the institution (the tenant). Customer accounts are the entities managed within it — each classified by customer type and segment, with its own licenses and subscriptions.

Tenants are set up from a central registry that creates the isolated database, email, and storage for each. Identity and SMTP details flow from the organization to the registry, while plan and license details flow from the registry back down to the organization.

Academic Structure & the Learning Spine

It is the engine that models an organization's hierarchy — for example, Campus > Board > Grade for a school, Business Unit > Division > Team for a corporate, or a training programme. You design named, ordered tiers (up to eight levels deep) and then populate real values beneath them.

Yes. The same structure engine adapts to schools, universities, corporate academies, training centres, or individual creators. Each account's segment sets its structure depth, vocabulary, and which features switch on.

Every account is classified by customer type — Individual, Corporate, Training, or Academic — along with a more precise sub-type. The segment determines the structure and feature set that account experiences.

Yes. You can design your own named tiers, and institutes can use only the levels they need — skipping a level a template offers without breaking it.

Acadmaya provides ready-made structure templates (School, University, College, Corporate, Training, Individual). An institute can copy — or 'fork' — a standard structure into its own editable, institute-owned version in a single step.

Content & Course Delivery

The Course Builder lets you compose structured courses with rich content, media, and thumbnails, then publish them in a click.

A repository of reusable content assets with clear provenance — distinguishing platform/tenant-standard content from institute-created ('custom') content.

The course player is the learner-facing experience where learners consume content, track their progress, mark items to revise later, take notes, and report issues as they go.

Yes. Navigation can optionally be gated so learners complete a course in the intended order. This is configurable per account.

Yes. Personal notes and saved items keep every learner's place and thinking together as they move through a course.

Assessments & Question Banks

You can build fixed or dynamically drawn tests with configurable size and scoring, pulling questions from reusable question banks.

Central, reusable pools of questions that can feed any assessment across the platform, so content is authored once and reused everywhere.

Yes. Acadmaya can generate and sanity-check question sets from source material in seconds, dramatically speeding up assessment authoring.

Structured grade definitions map assessment results to an institution's own grading scheme.

AI & Automation

AI Studio is a built-in generative media tool that creates video from text, images, or clips (Text / Image / Video to Video). It is production-verified end to end.

Generative media through AI Studio, AI-assisted authoring (drafting question banks and cover pages, running content sanity checks), and AI automation across the content and assessment lifecycle.

Every AI action is priced, logged, and drawn from a per-account credit wallet, so usage stays transparent and controllable.

A per-account balance of AI credits. AI actions consume credits, and accounts can top up as needed. Trusted accounts may be allowed to run on postpaid or overage credit within clear guardrails.

Live Classes & Communication

Yes. You can schedule and host live sessions through a pluggable meeting layer, keeping scheduling and delivery inside the platform.

Zoom is live today. Microsoft Teams and Google Meet are supported behind the same scheduling experience.

Yes. A scoped people directory supports one-to-one and group conversations, with group management and offline message handling.

Messages to offline recipients are saved and surfaced the moment they return. A notification system and full notification logs track what was sent, skipped, or failed — scoped to each account.

Billing & Payments

Institutions can be invoiced, payments collected, and every document numbered consistently. The platform supports subscriptions, invoices, and secure online payments.

Acadmaya integrates real payment gateways (such as Razorpay and CashFree) for secure online payments, with support for recurring business-to-business billing cycles.

A unified numbering framework for all entities and invoices, editable per tenant, that keeps numbering consistent and continuous across the platform.

Yes. You can raise, approve, and issue invoices with snapshotted seller details, PDF attachments, recipient pickers, and a live preview — and email invoices with the PDF attached.

Security, Roles & Access

Dynamic roles and permissions decide exactly what each person can see and do — from the platform owner down to a single learner. Roles can differ per side (tenant staff versus customer users).

A platform-level operator who can move between tenants securely, with the correct tenant database resolved automatically on every request.

Yes. Tenant isolation, role-based access, enterprise-grade security, and centralized administration protect each tenant's data and configuration.

Dashboards & Analytics

Everyone lands on a role-scoped dashboard tuned to their role, with a widget grid, an events calendar, a growth-trend chart, and a live activity feed backed by real usage data.

Yes. You can track consumption against each account's allocation at a glance, including storage and AI credit usage.

Website & Lead Capture

The marketing website presents the product, pricing, partner program, frequently asked questions, and contact information, along with lead-capture forms for enquiries.

These forms capture enquiries with cascading category, country, state, and city lookups and a CAPTCHA check, then record the lead in the internal tracker — tagged by source, product, and capture type.

Pricing & Plans

Tiered plans (for example Small, Medium, Large, and Enterprise) sized by number of administrators, learners, storage, AI credits, and support level, so an organization can pick the plan that fits.

Yes. A flexible 'build your own' model is priced per component — platform, customer, administrator, active learner, storage, and AI credits — with the ability to add learners, storage, or credits any time and no long-term commitment.

Support

Support level scales with your plan, ranging from Email support to Priority and Dedicated support. For any query, contact the team at contact@kalamdigital.com.
